As we all know, how to pass a drug test becomes increasingly more important across states where rights to privacy, the Fourth Amendment, and worker’s rights are beginning to be taken less and less seriously. In many so-called “red states” the problem seems to be more pervasive, and for many workers and millions seeking employment, the question has become, “What will be on the ballot this year with regard to drug testing and legalizing marijuana?”
For some, the latter issue–the legalization of marijuana–is something that neither President Obama or Mitt Romney have discussed at any length worth mentioning at all. Could it be that the other issues really are more important than this one, or that this issue in particular is not an “election-winning” issue to be on the right or wrong side of?
With so many millions of people now using marijuana for serious medical issues and not just recreationally, does it seem fair that the two major candidates don’t have to answer to policy issues of legalization? And further, is it fair that there will be practically no measures on any ballot with regard to legalization of pot or even the issues that surround pre-employment drug testing and having to pass a random drug test in the workplace at the drop of a hat?
Tell us at PassADrugTest.com what you think of these issues, we’re eager to hear from you before voting day!
