LAS VEGAS, Nv. — On May 23, marijuana patients moved one step closer to being able to legally buying their medicine in Nevada. Nevada bill SB374, proposing medical marijuana dispensaries, cleared a keyNevada legislative committee, and now moves on to the Nevada Senate floor, needing just 14 votes to advance. Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval would need to sign the bill for it to become law. The overwhelming support came because the Nevada Health Department said they could fund the startup costs to manage the program.
